With extensive experience, 5SSR Directors are often asked for expert advice. This has included testimony in court, provision of expert advice during mediation, and 3rd party review.

5SSR staff are able to draw on more than 35 years of experience in the US where legal proceedings related to stream restoration projects are common.  Sensing that the courts were going to become involved in the stream restoration field in Canada, Brad Fairley delivered a presentation at the 2017 TRIECA Conference entitled “Litigation Related to Failed Stream Restoration Projects: Its Closer than You Think”.
